Vattukappa thoran

INGREDIENTS:

Vattukappa - 3 handful

Coconut - 1/2 cup (5 tbspn)

Green chilly - 2

Garlic - 1 clove

Chilly powder - 1 tspn

Turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn

Cumin seeds - 1/2 tspn

Salt - to taste

Coconut oil - 1 tbspn

Curry leaves - a few


Soak the dry tapioca for 4 to 6 hours.

In a mixer, add green chilly and garlic.

Add coconut, chilly powder, turmeric powder and cumin seeds.

Grind it coarsely and keep aside.

Cook the dry tapioca with a little turmeric poser and salt. Add necessary water.

Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, red chilly and curry leaves.

Add the cooked tapioca to the seasoning.

Add the coarsely ground coconut mixture to the cooked tapioca.

Mix it well and cook on medium flame until done.

Vattukappa thoran ready.

Dry tapioca thoran ready.. when you don't get fresh tapioca use this one and enjoy your meal. 🤗🤗
