Sausage Macaroni

INGREDIENTS:

Macaroni - 1 packet

Sausage - 1 packet

Onion - 3

Garlic - 5 cloves

Ginger - 1 piece

Green chilly - 3

Tomato - 1

Coriander leaves - a handful

Cinnamon sticks - 3 small sticks

Cardamom - 2

Cloves - 3

Turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn

Chilly powder - 1 tspn

Coriander powder - 1 1/2 tspn

Salt


All set to begin☺☺

Take water in a vessel. Add salt and 1 tbspn oil to it. Boil the water.

When the water boils add macaroni to it. We have added oil so that the macaroni does not stick together when it gets cooked. Cook the macaroni until it gets done.

Drain the macaroni when it gets cooked. Keep it aside.

Boil the sausages and cook until done. Drain and keep it aside to cool.

Heat oil in a pan. Add cinnamon sticks, cardamom and cloves.

Cut and add onion, ginger, garlic and green chilly. Saute well.

When onion changes colour add tomato and fry well.

Next add turmeric powder and fry well until the raw smell goes..

Add chilly powder and coriander powder and fry until it gets combined well with the mixture.

Cut sausages into round shape and add to the fried mixture. Mix it well.

After the sausages are combined well with the mixture, add coriander leaves and mix well.

Add macaroni now and mix it well until the masala gets coated everywhere.

Macaroni is now ready.

You can substitute sausages with vegetables like carrot, beans, peas, capsicum etc. Children will enjoy this dish. 😎😎
