RASAM

INGREDIENTS:

Pepper - 2 tbspn

Red chilly - 4

Garlic - 10

Ginger - small piece

Tomato - 1

Cumin seeds - 3/4 tspn

Tamarind - lemon size

Turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn

Jaggery - 1/2 tspn

Salt - to taste

Coriander leaves - a 1/4 handful

Curry leaves - a few


Ready with the ingredients🙂

Put all the ingredients into a mixer.

Powder the ingredients.

Add little water to make it into a fine paste.

Keep the paste aside.

Extract the juice of the tomato.

Add the juice of tamarind to this tomato juice extract.

Add the ground paste to this now.

Add necessary water, salt and turmeric powder to it.

Mix it well and taste the salt.

Allow it to boil. Not boil completely. When it starts to bubble from the sides you can switch off the stove.

Add coriander leaves to it.

Season it with mustard seeds, curry leaves, little heeng and red chilly

Healthy Rasam ready. Good for health especially soothing when you have cold and sore throat.😎😎
