Neiyappam 👩👩

INGREDIENTS:

Maida - 3/4 cup

Rice flour - 1/2 cup

Wheat flour - 3/4 cup

Jaggery - 2 Big cubes

Sesame seeds - 1 tspn

Coconut pieces - 1 tbspn

Banana - 1

Salt - a pinch

Oil - For frying


Ready to snack😋😋

Melt the jaggery in 3/4 cup of water. Strain and keep it aside

Put the three powders in a bowl. Add the melted and strained jaggery to it and mix well until a flowing consistency without any lumps.

Add mashed banana to it and mix well.

Add sesame seeds and coconut pieces to it and blend it well with the mixture. It should flow smoothly from the ladle.

Keep the batter aside for 2 hours.

Heat oil in a pan (Ghee can be substituted). Pour one ladle full into the oil. It should be on medium flame.

Flip it over and fry until it becomes golden brown.

Tasty and soft neiyappam ready. You can use ghee for frying.

You will get around 15 Neiyappams from this measurement.
