Kootu curry

INGREDIENTS:

Raw banana - 2

Black chickpea - 1 cup

Coconut - 1/2 grated

Cumin seeds - 3/4 tspn

Turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn

Chilly powder - 1 tspn

Pepper powder - 1/2 tspn

Jaggery - 3/4 tspn

Garlic - 1

Salt - to taste

Curry leaves - a few

Coconut oil


Ready with ingredients🙂

Put coconut, cumin seeds, pepper powder, garlic into a mixer.

Grind into a paste.

Pour necessary water to the cur banana, add turmeric powder. chilly powder and salt. Allow it to boil.

Pressure cook the chick pea. Add to the almost cooked vegetable and boil.

Add the ground coconut paste now and mix well.

Add jaggery and boil it for around 5 minutes.

Heat coconut oil. Crackle mustard, red chilly and curry leaves. Add one handful of grated coconut and fry until golden brown.

Keep frying.

Fry until it turns golden brown.

Add the fried mixture to the curry. This enhances the taste of the dish.

Delicious dish ready.
