Green Gram Curry 🤗🤗

INGREDIENTS:

Green gram - 1 glass

Onion - 1

Garlic - 6

Ginger - a small piece

Tomato - 1

Green chilly - 1

Turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn

Chilly powder - 1 tspn

Coriander powder - 1 tbspn

Garam masala - 1 tspn

Curry leaves - a few

Salt - to taste


Ready to cook😃

Cut all the vegetables.


Heat oil in a pan. Crackle mustard seeds.

Add the cut onion, ginger, garlic, green chilly and curry leaves. Saute well.

When onion turns translucent add cut tomato.

When it is fried well, add turmeric powder, fry well until the raw smell goes.

Add chilly powder and coriander powder and fry well.

Add salt and fry well.

Pressure cook the soaked green gram.

Add the cooked green gram to the fried mixture.

Add necessary water and salt and allow it to boil.

Allow it to boil until the curry thickens.

Yummy curry ready for puttu😎😎

It is a yummy dish and goes well for puttu, idiyappam etc. Enjoy.😃😃
