Chamandhi podi

INGREDIENTS:

Coconut - 2 cups

Small onion - 8 to 10

Red chilly - 15

Coriander seeds - 1 tspn

Fenugreek - 1/4 tspn

Cumin seeds - 1/2 tspn

Pepper - 3/4 tspn

Tamarind - lemon size

Curry leaves - 3/4 cup

Salt


Ready with the ingredients😃😃

Heat a pan. first add the coconut into it.

Roast the coconut until it starts changing colour.

When the coconut changes colour add coriander seeds, peeper corn, cumin seeds, fenugreek, shallots, red chilly and curry leaves. Roast all these items together.

Continue to roast until brown.

When the mixture turns brown add tamarind now.

Allow it to cool. Then put it in a grinder and pulse. Do not forget to add necessary salt before pulsing.

Chamandhi podi is ready😋😋

This is my niece Sreepriya's recipe.. really goes well with rice...If you have curd, then this chamandhi podi is what you need. Store this in an airtight container.😊😊
