Set to begin😊😊

Dry roast fennel seeds. Ensure that it does not get burnt.

Once the fennel seeds are roasted add chilly powder and coriander powder to it

Roast until the raw smell goes. You will get a good aroma at this time. Switch off the gas. Allow it to cool. Put the mixture into the mixer and powder it well.

Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds to it.

Once the mustard crackles, add ginger garlic paste to it and saute well.

Add onion, green chilly, curry leaves and fry well until it turns a light pink. Then add turmeric and saute the above mixture.

Once done add the roasted powder and mix well. Let it get combined well. Keep frying until oil separates.

Next add the pressure cooked chana to the fried mixture.

Add water and necessary salt and allow it to cook on low flame so that the chana absorbs the masala well.

Tasty Kadala masala with thick gravy is ready.😎😎

This is a tasty dish and goes well with chapathi, bread, rice.👩👩
