Vegetable Biryani

INGREDIENTS:

Basmati Rice - 2 cups

Water - 3 cups

Onion - 2

Ginger - 2 small piece

Garlic - 6 cloves

Green chilly - 5

Tomato - 1 big

Carrot - 1/2

Potato - 1

Beans - 10

Yoghurt - 4 tbspn

Chilly powder - 1 tspn

Coriander powder - 1 tspn

Turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn

Cinnamon sticks - 2 small piece

Cloves - 3

Cardamom - 3

Bay leaves - 1

Coriander leaves - handful

Mint leaves - handful

Salt - to taste


Ready with all ingredients😀

Cut the vegetables and keep it ready.

Add 4 tbspn curd.

Add chilly powder, turmeric powder, corinader powder and necessary salt. Marinate the vegetables with these ingredients and keep it aside.

Add onion, ginger, garlic, green chilly,and mint leaves to the mixer.

Grind to a smooth paste.

Heat oil. Add cinnamon sticks, cloves, cardamom and bay leaves.

Add the ground paste and stir well.

Add one tomato and saute until it turns soft.

Add the marinated vegetables now.

Stir well. Add necessary salt.

Add 3 cups of water and allow it to boil

Add one handful of chopped coriander leaves to it now.

Add 2 cups of cleaned and drained basmati rice.

Cook it on low flame for around 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, rice is done.

Biryani readyyyyyy🤗🤗

Yummy vegetable is ready to be served. Goes well with raitha👷‍♀️👷‍♀️
